The Much Talked about Apple Service Apple Pay which uses NFC technology to have a cashless actually replacing the physical bills with the NFC tech. is expected to launch in Canada this fall.
Though Apple Had worked really hard on this project but it seems to be failing internationally as the reports says that it does not provide that much security and the bad use experience.
But, needless to say, Apple has proven itself to be very persuasive and judging by the vigorous efforts to push Apple Pay, the situation might actually get sorted out sooner than we expect. All we can do is hope that the customer won’t be the one left "paying the bill" in the end.
